James Anderson joined 600 wickets club

 


It has been fantastic moment for Jimmy Anderson ,On 25th August 2020,on the final day of test match between England and Pakistan, Anderson become the first fast bowler to take  600 Test Wicket. it has been historical match for Jimmy Anderson.

Anderson , playing in his 156th match ,become the first seamer to represent ,600 wicket in the game's longest formal, the 38 year old's feat left him Fourth in the list of leading Test Wicket takers ,with only spin bowler Muttiah Muralitharan (800),Shane Warne (708) and only Indian Anil kumble(619) Ahead of him.



Anderson(38 years), who started the third test at the Ageas Bowl seven wickets away form write down to become first seamer bowler to took 600 wickets , dismissed pakistan batsman Azhar Ali for the milestone on Day 5.

After  Zak Crawley  reformed his maiden International century into Double And Jos Buttler scored His Second Test ton to give England  an impressive first innings total.Crawly and jos Buttler shared a record 359 run partnership,Anderson ripped through Pakistan's top order, Claiming the first four wickets after a fighting knock from Azhar Ali (who hits his 17th international test century)got solid support from Mohammad Rizwan, Anderson back remove Naseem shah to wrap the innings up and took his 29th five-wicket haul.



Anderson , playing his 156th test,However ,is the slowest to reach 600 wicket milestone .The quickest was Muralitharan who took 101 test matches followed by kumble 124 matches and share Warne took 126 matches to reach 600 club .Anderson,Who surpassed gleen McGrath to become the leading Test Wicket taker among fast bowler in 2008.
