M.S.Dhoni (The greatest captain of Indian cricket )

 Mahendra Singh Dhoni (full name mahendra singh pansingh dhoni) Announced his retirement from international cricket on 15th August ,2020.His Retirement news astonished the Cricket world .Dhoni is of the greatest cricketer  of  World cricket .The Ranchi boy departed  from test cricket back in 2014 against Australian team.No.7 had Played his last Odi international match against New Zealand ,it was semifinal of World Cup 2019. Even Dhoni had played his last T20i  match on 27th feb,2019 .After got defeat in semifinal against New Zealand , Dhoni didn't play any major cricket match ,He is not available against South Africa series, West Indies series and New Zealand Series , so every cricket fans around the world Concerned about his return on Cricket pitch ,Now he came with his retirement news on 15th august . He declared that he will play only IPL.

Early life- Dhoni was born on 7th July,1981 in Ranchi ,his father's name is Pan singh nd mother's name is Devaki Devi ,Dhoni has one sister ,is Jayanti Gupta nd one younger brother is Narendra Singh Dhoni. He was TTE(Traveling ticket examiner )at kharagpur railway from 2001 to 2003.From TTE to Greatest captain of Indian cricket ,He came across a long journey .

Cricket career- Dhoni has glorious Cricket Career and some Magnificent Records,Dhoni Debut for India on 23 Dec,2004 against Bangladesh .Dhoni portray national side for 15 years ,He played 90 test matches,350 one day matches And 98 T20I matches for India in which He scored 4,876 Runs in test ,10773 runs in ODI and 1667 runs in T20I matches. No.7 scored  6 test century and 10 odi century and total  108 half Century  in his Great career . 

In Test career -under His captaincy ,India topped the test cricket for the very first time of Indian cricket history in 2009 ,He is the first Indian wicket keeper batsman to complete 4000 test runs .He led the team to series wins in New Zealand and West Indies and the Border-Gavaskar trophy in 2008,2010 and 2013.

In ODI cricket-Dhoni is the third captain (And the first non- Australian ) overall to win 100 games in odi cricket . Fourth Indian to reach 10000 odi runs after Great Sachin Tendulkar ,Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly and also the second Wicket keeper to reached the milestone . First player to pass 10000 runs with having a career average of over 50 .He is first and fifth overall to hit 200 sixes in odi ,He has most not outs (82) in ODI. Dhoni holds the Records of the most dismissals in an innings (6) and career 432 and most stumping (120) by Wicketkeeper in ODIs ,He caught 300 catches behind the stump (first Indian wicketkeeper  and overall fourth in the World .

T20I-He has most wins in T20I as captain (41) ,most catches as captain in T20I (72).Dhoni Has most dismissals as Wicketkeeper in T20I (87).

International records (Combined odi,test T20I)-Dhoni played the most international matches as captain(332).He is only wicketkeeper to effect 150 stumping dismissals across the three form of the game,his current total stumpings in international stands at 161. Under his captaincy in June 2013 , India defeated England in final of The ICC champion Trophy  in England ,Dhoni became the First captain to win all three ICC limited-over Trophies ,under his captaincy India won  First world T20 in 2007 ,Under his captaincy  India won 50 overs  world cup in 2011 after 28 years and Won Champions Trophy in 2013.

Dhoni also holds numerous captaincy records, In IPL(Indian premier league ) ,He captained the Chennai Super Kings to victory at 2010,2011 and 2018 season Along side with in the 2010 and 2014 edition of Champions League Twenty-20.He was named as ICC world Test 11 in 2009 ,2010 and 2013 .He also has been  selected in a record 8 times in ICC world ODI XI teams ,5 time as a captain.

The Padma Shri in 2009 (India's fourth highest civilian award ). He honoured with Padma Bhushan in 2018 (India's third-highest civilian award) .The Indian Territorial Army, Conferred the Honorary rank of lieutenant colonel to Dhoni on Nov 1 ,2011 .he is the second Indian cricketer after Kapil Dev to receive this Honour.Dhoni has been rated time 100 list as one of the "most influential people in the world".In 2012 , Sports-pro rated Dhoni as the Sixteenth most marketable athlete in the world.
