Cristiano Ronaldo becomes second men's player to score 100 international goals.

 Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday became the second Ever footballer to reach century of goal in international football after netting in his 100th for Portugal in a UEFA Nations league Match against Sweden.


 Right now , Nothing can stop Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo from scoring goals and breaking records , having missed Portugal's Nations league openar against Croatia on Saturday with a toe infection, Cristiano Ronaldo has set his sights on Ali Daei's record of 109 international goals , following a double in Portugal's 2-0 win over Sweden in Nation league. It took him to reach 101 goals for his country since his debut in 2004.

Veteran Sweden midfielder Gustav Sevenson was sent off just before the halftime for collecting his second yellow card in match ,from the resulting free-kick , Ronaldo fired the ball into the top corner of the net to bring up his landmark century and then scored his second goal of the night in the 72nd minutes as Portugal won 2-0. The Juventus forward curled in a second goal for the edge of the box of  penalty area.

 


Portugal have  two wins from their opening Nations league fixtures , in first match Portugal beat Croatia , having full time score 4-1 and beat Sweden 2-0 last night . As a result of ,Portugal top  the table ahead of France ,who beat Croatia 4-2 in Paris . Ronaldo only active player to be in the century club. His trademark celebration followed as he wheeled away in fascinate towards his teammates to celebrate with Santos and the substitutes .


The 35 year old has also scored 9 hat-tricks so far in his outstanding career,and led his team to win first ever major title at 2016 after the heartbreaking defeat at 2004 Euro final . Portugal beat France in Euro Cup final in 2016 . They also won the inaugural Nations league in 2019 and targeting to defend their Crown .

Cristiano Ronaldo became the first European to reach 100 goals for his country after Ali daei,who scored 109 times for Iran , Ronaldo took 165 appearance to reach the milestone. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star is by far and away the active leader in International goals. India's Sunil Chhetri (72 ) and Argentina's Lionel messi (70) are the next closest.


After the match ,The Portuguese star said " I managed to beat this milestone of 100 goals and now (I'll go) for the record . it's step by step . I'm not obsessed because I believe the records come in a natural Way".

He continued -" obviously the 100 mark ,with two great goal , I'm very happy. The future belongs to god alone, I am privileged to play with this lot of players, the manager already knows me ,there are no words."

The Brazilian star pele( One of the great of this game and living legend) Congratulates Ronaldo after Portugal star scores 100th international goal.

In a interview Ronaldo said "Football without fans like going to a circus and not seeing clowns !!"

He also said "I have nothing to prove" on a question of winning international trophy with national team.
